Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 24, 2025
At Stillwave, our mission is to help you find stillness. We believe your privacy is a critical part of that peace of mind. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We believe in data minimization. We only collect what is necessary to provide you with a personalized experience.
- Waitlist Information: When you sign up for our waitlist, we collect your email address to notify you about our launch.
- Session Data (App Usage): To generate personalized breathwork and meditation sessions, the app processes transient inputs such as your current mood, familiarity level, and the current moon phase.
- Usage Analytics: We collect anonymous, aggregated data about how the app is used (e.g., session completion rates) to improve performance and user experience.
2. How We Use AI
Stillwave uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to craft unique meditation scripts and affirmation text tailored to your mood.
- Transient Processing: Your inputs (mood, goals) are sent to our secure AI provider to generate text. This data is not used to train third-party AI models.
- Anonymity: Data sent for AI processing is anonymized and not linked to your personal identity.
3. Data Security & Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your email addresses are stored securely and are never sold to third parties. We strictly do not track your location or access your contacts. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party services to operate our app, such as Google Firebase (for hosting and authentication) and Google Cloud (for AI processing). These partners adhere to strict data protection standards.
5. Children’s Privacy
Stillwave does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information immediately. If you believe we have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, or request its deletion at any time. Simply contact us using the email below.
